Warehouse and Office Development at Pioneer Road An industrial development comprising a 4-storey warehouse and a 7-storey office started construction in August 2009. The project site is located in the western part of Singapore at 30 Pioneer Road. The sub-contractor Shing Yong Construction Pte Ltd opted to use PERI's VARIO GT 24 Column formwork system to cast the columns for this project. The column formwork system were designed for dimensions of 8400mm x 600mm x 600mm and 8400mm x 900mm x 900mm. According to the sub-contractor, with the use of the efficient and cost-effective column formwork system from PERI they were able to cast 16 columns in just 2 days. In addition, they were able to save manpower of up to 70% as compared to conventional formwork. The project was completed in October 2010.
